Gli
ultimi lavoretti mi rendono nervosa, perché vorrei vederli finiti al più presto
- ed anche i miei muratori, così bravi ma affatto pazienti quando si tratta di
provare tecniche nuove, per loro! – Quindi l’eliminazione della rampa di scala
che porta all’ultimo piano è proprio il lavoro che fa al caso loro, così
possono ancora demolire. Temo che la demolizione sia l’occupazione preferita
dei muratori, si impegnano veramente, anche se di mettere un po’ d’acqua per
contenere la polvere, non se ne parla neanche! Tanto i vicini protestano con
me! E poi non capisco perché un modo di lavorare che fa bene anche a loro
(evitare di inalare le polveri!) lo evitino accuratamente … non mi rimane che
prendere una bottiglia d’acqua, tagliarne il collo e spargerle l’acqua sui
detriti.
The last jobs make me nervous, because I wish I see
them over – and my masons, so good but not patient at all about new techniques,
for them! – So the stair’s removal is the work just right for them, so they can
still demolish. I am afraid the demolition is the masons’ favorite job, they
really commit themselves, even if there is no way to sprinkle a bit of water
for shut down the dust! Well the neighbours come to complain to me! And then I
don’t understand why if there is a right way to work that it’s ok for them too
(avoiding to inhale the dust!) they don’t do it … I have no choice but to take
a water’s bottle, to cut the bottleneck and to spread the water on the rubble.
Il
contatore del gas, dopo aver fatto richiesta di spostamento … da ottobre,
dall’interno lo colloco all’esterno, ma non amo tutte quelle nicchie di fianco
a porte e portoni – col rischio di ridurre la massa muraria di sostegno – così
realizzo la nicchia proprio nel tramezzo del garage, prima del portoncino
d’ingresso.
After making request of displacement … in october, I’m

arrivata la macchina per l’intonaco, il mio intonaco a calce per gli interni.
La squadra di intonacatori è veloce a posizionare tutti gli spigoli dei
tramezzi e a fissarli con l’intonaco. Pretendo molta cura per gli spigoli del
portale in ferro, dovranno essere perfetti, per far risaltare meglio la
ruvidezza dell’acciaio lasciato a vista. Il portale non è stato trattato
volutamente, per mettere a contrasto i due materiali, l’intonaco a calce
naturale con l’acciaio industriale.
The mortar’s machine is arrived, yes my lime mortar
for the interior walls. The plaster team is fast for place all the partition
corners and for fix with the mortar. I expect a great care for the corners of
the iron portal, they have to be perfect, in order for stand out more the
roughness of the iron. The portal has not been treated intentionally, for stand
out the contrast between the two materials, the natural lime mortar with the
industrial iron.
